# Up/Down Prediction

> Join scheduled Up/Down rounds and understand betting windows, price direction, pool-based odds, and order records.

Up/Down Prediction groups orders into scheduled rounds. Users select whether the settlement price will be higher or lower than the round's opening price.

## How to participate

1. Select an enabled symbol and period.
2. Check the round number, opening price, betting window, and result-evaluation time.
3. Choose Up or Down and enter the stake.
4. Review the offered odds and expected payout, then submit while betting is open.
5. Track the order under its round and check the final result and return.

## Round times

| Time                   | Meaning                                          |
| ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| Betting start          | The round begins accepting orders                |
| Betting close          | New bets for that round stop being accepted      |
| Result-evaluation time | The scheduled result-evaluation time             |
| Settlement completion  | The recorded completion of settlement processing |

A round's duration and its betting window are different settings. Use the displayed timestamps rather than assuming betting stays open for the entire period.

## Direction result

| Settlement price is higher than opening price | Up        |
| Settlement price is lower than opening price  | Down      |

An equal price does not establish either direction. Check the applicable round's equal-price rule; do not treat equality as an automatic loss or refund.

## Odds and example

Offered odds change with the Up and Down pools and the proposed stake, subject to configured limits. A later pool quote does not by itself identify the settlement terms of an earlier order; use that order's recorded terms.

For example, if the opening price is 65,000 and the settlement price is 65,100, the direction is Up. An accepted winning stake of 100 USDT at recorded odds of 1.85x has a gross payout of 185 USDT before any separately disclosed fee. These numbers illustrate the calculation, not a production quote.
